PRO-LINE DESIGN, INC., was established in 1989 by John D. Thomas, who after training and service in the United States Marine Corp. as Regimental Survey Chief for the 2^nd Marine Division; worked in the private sector with York Engineering Company, a Montgomery, Alabama based Company, as Field Engineer for Outside Plant Design; after which, worked for and owned part of Goodwyn Engineering Consultants, a Montgomery, Alabama based Company, as OSP Engineer; after which, worked with Volt Information Sciences, Voltelcon Division, a New York based Company as Regional Manager for the South East United States.  At this time PRO-LINE DESIGN, INC., was founded using knowledge and experience gained over the pass twenty-four years.

PRO-LINE DESIGN, Inc. was reorganize in 2009 and became PROLINE DESIGN, LLC.
